Google Launches TeachParentsTech.org for Teaching Tech
Google has launched an online service TeachParentsTech.org to help those who are less familier with computers and Internet. The website allows you to send 50 basic how-tovideos to your Dad and Mom or anyone else who needs some help related to computers.
According to Google,TeachParentsTech.org lets you select from more than 50 basic how-to videos to send to mom, dad, your old college roommate, your neighbor or anyone else who could use a little help with tech tasks—whether it’s how to copy & paste to how to share a big file. Wrap up your video with a custom email and off it goes! The recipient will receive your message and a link to the video(s) you selected.
The site is very easy-to-use. Just pick someone who needs help, it may be your Dad or Mom or may be one of your friend and visit TeachParentsTech.org and fill out the form and enter your email followed by receiver’s email address.
There are 50 basic how-to videos like how to copy and paste, how to change desktop wallpaper, how to take screenshot, how to upload files, how to chat, how to get movie showtimes etc. You can select as many videos as you want to send. You can also write additional text from yourself so that receiver will receive the mail in the format of your desire along with the youtube urls of the videos.
Go to TeachParentsTech.org (By Google) and say to your Mom and Dad ‘I can answer your questions over video chat’ .
