How to Record Video From Your Webcam Right From Google+
Google has added a lot of new features to its social network over the past few months. Recently, a new feature has been added that allows you to record video from your webcam right from Google+, and then allowing you to choose the circle with whom you want to share your video. No one, outside the circle, will be able to see your recorded video.
Up until now, you had to use Youtube to upload/record video, make them private and then copy the link to your Google+ stream. But this new feature has made it more easier to share videos privately with your Google+ friends. Read on to learn how to record video from your webcam right from Google+ and share with your Google+ network.
How To Record Video Right From Google+
Click on the video icon in the bottom right corner of the status box. You should see a new option ‘Record Video’ in the drop down menu. Just click on ‘Record video’ and it will take you to the page where you must grant permission for Google+ to access your Webcam. The whole process is quite similar to how you upload video on Youtube.
Next, simply click the ‘Record’ button to get started recording the video. Note that the longest video you can record using this feature is only 15 minutes. When you’re done, click the ‘Recording’ button to stop the video recording and then share the video with your Google+ network. Of course you can select the circle with whom you want to share.
The recorded video will be saved in your Google+ profile so if you want to watch/share the video again, just go to your profile and click the ‘Videos’ tab, and you’ll be shown all the videos you’ve shared so far. You can also see all the uploaded pictures and videos in your Picasa album.
